Well. It’s come to this, the last day of freshman year at Hendrix College. And what a year it has been too, between the activities, classes, work, and general fun I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of. So without further ado, here’s a quick recap of the year:

Party of Two
Note: this is the full text of a sermon that I wrote and preached at Kibler UMC in the Kibler community of Arkansas on April 10, 2016. “Again I assure you that if two of you agree on earth about anything you ask, then my Father who is in heaven will do it for you.Continue reading “Party of Two”
PSA: Preserve Your Website
To my website-running friends: I bet you’ve made some amazing content over the years. But wouldn’t you like to save it for posterity? Sadly, you may not be doing so, because of a file called “robots.txt”. This file keeps “robots” (e.g. the Googlebot, the software that allows Google to create search results) from indexing certainContinue reading “PSA: Preserve Your Website”
The Freshman 15 (Projects, Clubs, Organizations…)

Lord of the Flies Soundtrack

New website for the SEDCYM
I was happy to work with the Southeast District Council of Youth Ministries on setting up and customizing their new website. You can see the results at http://www.sedcym.org.
Work on something else
Simply put, I’ve decided to put STEVE on hiatus until I have much more time to work on it. So instead, to fill the gap, I’ve published some work on translating a book called “BASIC Computer Games” into Python. That work can be found at https://github.com/loremipsumdolor/BCGIP.
CI and what it might mean for you
Well, of course I am going to continue posting on here, I didn’t change all of this for nothing. But now on to the CI. Before the upcoming release of STEVE Public Alpha 3, I’ve gotten a server going that will build releases of STEVE every time I upload code to GitHub. They might notContinue reading “CI and what it might mean for you”
Still alive
So I haven’t posted anything in a while…whether or not I continue that I don’t exactly know yet.
