IN THIS WEEK’S POST: It was such a quiet week, I didn’t even have any pictures.
This week was a bit short, for a couple of reasons. First off, Monday was dedicated to cleaning up the last of the Annual Conference stuff. Secondly, I missed Tuesday due to sickness. Then the office closed early on Thursday, and was closed all day today (Friday), all because of the Fourth. Therefore, I didn’t have a lot of time to do stuff, but I still found time to do a couple of things.
The biggest thing I did this week was begin to coordinate with everyone who filled out REcharge Initiative forms. We had quite a few fill out an interest form, so I spent much of my time focusing on contacting them and better understanding their needs and wants. However, even that was mostly emails sent back and forth, since nothing has been set in stone yet.
I also spent my week refurbishing an old laptop for the REcharge Initiative (a first!), making a presentation for the South Central Jurisdictional Conference that happens here in a few weeks, and drafting some ideas for the future (that I can’t share quite yet!).
While I know this seems like a very quiet, uneventful week, it *is* the week after Annual Conference, so the office was pretty quiet anyways, and several of my co-workers were on vacation. However, don’t take that to mean that things will be slowing down, oh no. I will definitely have more to share in the upcoming weeks, because things are just getting started.
Until next time,
Jacob
